Of Chefs and Chicken Tenders

Food has changed so much for the average American family over the years.  I'm not here to discuss why or how this happened, but it has indeed happened.  Quick fixes, frozen food products, and fast food are all the norm.  I can't help but think that there is ways to get back, or at least start to get back, to the way it was.  Could you run your household kitchen like a restaurant chef? Not necessarily talent wise, but in planning and shopping, hell maybe even prepping ahead of time. Maybe our children would not have to be subject to Happy Meals and fries with every meal.  Or maybe we could eliminate that weeknight staple of chicken tenders for the kiddies...I know far fetched idea.  Yeah I know the kids love em, but look at the ingredient list.  If you don't know what some of those ingredients are, we have a problem. 

Well I'd like to share my insights, tips, and some recipes with you to accomplish all of the preceding.  Feel free to read, comment, ask questions, and whatever else you feel.  I look forward to your feedback and interaction.  Thanks for reading and remember, you don't have to be a Chef to run your kitchen like one!
